We are proud and excited to announce the formation of the Steve Fund Youth Advisory Board.

We are proud and excited to announce the formation of the Steve Fund Youth Advisory Board. The Steve Fund Youth Advisory Board was formed after a nation-wide recruitment process. This group of young students will support all of the Steve Fund’s programs, initiatives, and outreach efforts. Youth Advisory Board members will promote the importance of education about mental health and emotional well-being and help young people of color access resources on college and university campuses and within their respective communities. They advise on all Steve Fund efforts; help maximize the Fund’s impact among young people of color; help create innovative strategy; and connect their peers to mental health resources. Youth Advisory Board members serve as ambassadors and leaders. In partnership, they work with one another to create, implement, launch, and engage. Our board members hail from education institutions like Boston College, Northern Michigan University, Yale University, San Francisco State University, Harvard University, and Spelman College. Their contributions will be invaluable as the Steve Fund pursues its mission of supporting the mental health and emotional well being of students of color.

About The Steve Fund

The Steve Fund is dedicated to the mental health and emotional well-being of students of color. Right at this moment, there are students of color who are failing academically, suffering emotionally and/OR in some cases are facing serious risk, because population-specific factors influencing mental health are too poorly understood and not acted upon. We are taking action. Learn more.
