In the in-depth article they write: “The Steve Fund’s main objective is to provide better education about mental illness among minorities. The fund’s proponents believe that better education and a wider dialogue about these issues might help inform individuals and families about how to treat or even preempt the onset of serious mental illness among college students and recent college graduates.”
